The Robot

“PING” is an autonomous robot designed to compete in the SECON 2007 competition. The robot receives ping pong balls from an on-court hopper and shoots them through a vertical hoop at one end of the playing field. “PING” will uses court markings and onboard sensors to locate shooting and reloading points, as well as to target shots. Robots will competed head-to-head in a double elimination tournament.
