Introducing SideARM, the Sidewalk Artistic Robotic Machine.
SideARM makes custom images on sidewalks using washable ink or chalk. By automating the actual painting process, SideARM creates consistent pieces of "sidewalk art" without the hassle of manual color and size matching. SideARM is for use by artists, marketing firms, and others interested in making temporary works for public (urban) display.
Why are we doing this?
This Web site fulfills partial requirements for ECE 4532 and ECE 4542, the capstone course sequence for computer engineering majors at Mississippi State University. This site was launched in Fall Semester 2006 and was updated through Spring Semester 2007.
