DAWGi is a PC-based oscilloscope and function generator. It is a senior design project being desgned by a group of Mississippi State University students. The DAWGi leverages the computing power of any PC by using the standard USB connector. It has an easy to use graphical user interface, two standard scope probe inputs, one standard function generator output, and it can also save data for offline processing in EXCEL, MATLAB, and other analysis tools. DAWGi's functionality is comparable to many higher priced oscilloscopes, but has a much lower projected selling cost that makes it perfect for students and hobbyists.
