Description
The purpose of this project is to develop a training device
for baseball pitchers. The pitcher will throw a series of
pitches at a padded target equipped with switches that
determine the location of each pitch.
Features
- Detects the location of each pitch
- Displays hits, misses, total pitches, and accuracy on a scoreboard
- Locates pitches in an area slightly larger than a standard
strike zone which is approximately 20" x 24"
Applications
Used to help pitchers improve their accuracy
Will be used by
- High School Teams
- Baseball Academies
- Collegiate Teams
Specifications
- Can recognize a pitch thrown at 40 mph
- Can recognize a pitch thrown at 115 mph
- Powered by a standard 120 VAC outlet
