SouthEastCon 2006 provides a competitive contest for aspiring engineering students.
In this years competition an autonomous robot will act as a package loading system for FedEx. The robot will extract packages from a package chute, read the barcode affixed to each package to determine the airplane onto which it should be loaded, and lastly properly load it in the appropriate plane.
