The GPS Tracking System (GTS) is a device intended to help recover an automobile in the unfortunate event that it is stolen. It will work in unison with a standard car alarm to notify the owner if the car is being moved without authorization. The GTS will determine if the automobile is being moved without proper authorization by monitering the actions of the car alarm. If the GTS determines that the automobile is in fact being stolen, it will use a cellular modem to attempt to contact the owner's personal computer and report its position.
After the GTS begins to report its location to the owner's PC, the owner is then responsible for contacting the police to have them recover the vehicle.
