USB Logic Analyzer (Intronix LA1034)

The ECE department has purchase 10 USB logic analyzers (Intronix LA1034 LogicPort) for use by Senior design teams. These can be checked out from Dr. Reese. These are trivial to set up and use:

• Visit the Intronix website , and download the software for it.
• After the software is install, plug the Logicport into a USB port of your PC. It will install a device driver for it, and the Intronix software should detect your device.
• Read the documentation (installed on the Start Menu) for how to use it, or see Dr. Reese for a 10 minute tutorial.

If you are having I2C or SPI port problems, this can be invaluable in determining what is doing on with your system. Or, if you are trying to track to multiple digital signals, then you need this instead of a scope.
