Emerging Materials Research Laboratory
The Emerging Materials Research Laboratory (EMRL) is housed on the fourth floor of the Simrall Building. EMRL's research is concentrated on the growth, characterization, and application of novel semiconducting and insulating thin films. Emphasis is placed on wide bandgap semiconductors and thin-film dielectrics for use in the next generation of high-power, high-temperature, and high-frequency electronic devices.
