Graduation Deadline – Spring 2016

ECE Graduate Students:
If you are graduating during Spring 2016:
The deadline to apply for graduation is February 26. The $50 fee will double after that date, and will increase to $250 if you wait until after March 31 to apply.
Please note the following important dates below:
February 26 – Last day to apply for a degree with $50 fee March 11 – Last day for thesis/dissertation defense March 11 – Last day for non-thesis oral comprehensive examination March 24 – Last day for first submission of thesis/dissertation to the Library April 15 – Last day for final submission of thesis/dissertation to the Library
*Important*: You must have updated Program of Study and Committee Request forms on file in the department in order to graduate. If you need to update these forms, do so on or before *March 11*. (Note: the ECE department does not accept the Change to Graduate Program of Study form).
All graduating students must complete the ECE Graduation Form, http://www.ece.msstate.edu/wp-content/uploads/ece_graduation_form.pdf
Return the ECE Graduation Form and all other paperwork (Programs of Study, etc.) to Ms. Massey in the ECE office *no later than March 11*.
If you are doing a thesis or dissertation, be sure to submit your thesis/dissertation to the Thesis/Dissertation Submission system in myCourses (instructions in a separate email) *two weeks prior to your defense*.
Note: In order to secure the dean’s signature on theses or dissertations, students MUST complete the Bagley College of Engineering Graduate Exit Survey (https://www.bagley.msstate.edu/forms/bcoeprograms/gradexit).
