Message-ID: Hello ECE1002, We are going to begin quad chart presentations on Monday. We will randomly place your chart in a power point presentation. When you see your netID on screen, you will have 20 seconds to get up on the stage and begin your presentation. Your chart will stay on the screen for 3 minutes. When your 3 minutes is over, your chart will disappear and another netID will be displayed. If you are still presenting at the end of the 3 minutes, you must stop and get off stage immediately. Look on the mycourses webpage under grading rubrics to find the rubric for oral presentations. Please look at it in order to understand what Dr. Bruce and I will be looking for in your presentation. Below are some tips for your presentation: - Leave time for a question or two. Your presentation should probably be around 2:30. - You do not have to dress up, but please do not wear anything distracting. Use your best judgement. - You will not be using a microphone, so make sure you talk loudly. - You can use notes/note cards, but PLEASE DO NOT READ TO US!!! Most students who use note cards do not score as high as those who do not. Please email me if you have any other questions. You do not need to show all of your work. Please show each formula you use and show at least one example of each calculation. For example, if you have to find the power absorbed by five resistors, show all of your work for one resistor. You can then just give the answer for the other four resistors.
