One student found it yesterday during the lab hour yesterday at room 100. If you lost the cell phone or know the one who lost, let me know. Please read the lab 6 manual and take the online quiz. Also, finish the problem 1 and 2 in lab report before the lab starts. I attached the lab 5 report here because some of you have old form. This is the updated form that you should use. If you already have this form, please ignore this. You could read the problem like following. To turn on the LED (of SSD), a high signal (or 1) has to be provided. And this is different from LEDs right above the Switches. "With seven-segment displays, there are seven LEDs and seven resistors in one package. " (From Page 2 of the lab manual, see page 3 of lab manual for detail) I am sorry if I made confusion. I will forward this to the students in our lab. Thanks, Sungkwang On 10/18/11 PM 06:50, Joshua Dearing wrote: > Hello, > > I'm Joshua Dearing from the ECE-3714 section 2 class. I was taken off 40 points for not doing the homework part of the lab3. But in lab we were told it was for bonus points. Also on the lab report it says the "Homework(Bonus Points: 40)". It was specified that it was for bonus and not part of the grade. Why was the bonus counted as part of the grade? Thanks -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We extend the due of the quiz to 3PM on Wednesday so that you can take a quiz after the exam on Wednesday. This week we are going to learn how to make multiplexer and demultiplexer which are basically switches. Please read through the manual before taking a quiz. Good luck on your exam. The homework for Lab 6, Scrolling ID, should be in the lab report. So please take one picture of the board including your student ID, and put it in the lab report and submit it again by Friday. You won't get any deduction because of resubmission, but you will loss some points if you don't have the picture in it. For the waveform in lab 7 report, use the 'Verilog Fixture', not 'Testbench Waveform' when you generate test signal. Xilinx 13.2 users have been used until now, so this is only new to the 9.2 users. The instruction is at the end of the lab report 7. For 2-1 Mux, you only need to put three lines of code to generate the test signal. For 4-1 Mux, you can write the code similar to the 2-1 Mux (only difference is it is 4 input variables, not 2 input variables). Attached file is Test Fixture Tutorial from BASYS board company. If you have any question, please let me know. Sungkwang -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
