What we want to see is: 1. Title page 2. A short abstract explaining the purpose of the lab 3. Explanation of the procedure of the lab and any experimental data (this is where you might include the answer to any of the questions asked by the Lab Manual during the activity sections) 4. A conclusion, that is, what you learned and the answers to any questions asked at the end of the lab (in the Report section of the lab manual for that week's lab assignment) 5. An Appendix containing any of the code you modified or wrote for the lab assignment (the manual should tell you what to insert here.) The difference between these reports and the "Full" or "Formal" reports (which are labs 5 and 10 I think...) is that these do no contain a Theory section. You will be required to conduct some research for the Formal reports that will be included in the Theory section. They will also require you to reference your sources in a Reference/Bibliography section. I hope this clears up any confusion! --Eric Tramel Mico TA Quoting Matt Hodges : > > Do we need to just answer the questions for our lab report or are we > suppose to write a full lab report for the lab from last week. > > Thanks >
