Why does the contact potential form in the pn junction? 2. What charges create the space charge region? 3. What creates the electric field in the space charge region? 4. So, we will have our Test-2 on Tuesday, April 1. I have already posted online the Outline, The List of Formulas to Memorize, and an approximate Formula-Sheet (formulas that will be provided on the test). The Study HW (new material) for the coming class on Tuesday is posted. The next regular HW after the one that is due next Tuesday is also posted. I may not be able to send you my usual e-mail with this HW assignment, so please remember about it. As I informed you, I will be out of town. The 2 classes will be covered by my PhD student who is very experienced in this. Try to attend both days for a few reasons. He is likely to give Pop Quizzes (on one or both of the days). If he has time on Tuesday, Bharat will also quickly review the previous HW (Self-Quiz assignment). On Thursday (if time allows), he will also quickly walk you through the next HW.
