Calling all Power Students --

The Power Systems and Power Electronics faculty and students are teaming up to develop a departmental laboratory called the Power & Energy Research Lab (PERL).  This lab represents activities currently within the ECE Department related to power electronics and power systems including Dr. Ginn, Dr. Schulz and Dr. Srivastava.  Other faculty may be added to the research group as time goes on.    The High Voltage Laboratory, a university level laboratory, will remain as a separate research group, but will continue its collaborations with PERL.

As part of the process of doing the new lab name, we had a logo contest.  The top three logos are attached.     Please submit your vote to Barbara Matta (barbara@ece.msstate.edu) by Friday, January 25 at 5 pm.  Each faculty member and student gets one vote.

Thanks to Vinoth Mohan, Harry Lam and Shane Morrison for their top 3 entries.
