Hi CA Folks:
I would like to remind you the schedule for the project as follows:
1. Proposal update: November 16, 2007
2. Project bonus credit (early completion): November 20, 2007
3. Project due date: November 29, 2007

I can expect you all have good concept how to design 16-bit processor 
according to your exam #3 results; so, I would like to recommend you to 
complete your project by Nov. 20, 2007.
I believe there are some good reasons for the early completion, Nov. 20, 
like the followings:
1. You can get 20% bonus credit for the project;
2. You don't have to rush yourself during the last week of the semester 
with other class projects' similar due dates;
3. You can enjoy your project since you will learn so many valuable 
things for yourself; and
4. You can enjoy your thanksgiving break.

Make sense? Then, don't wait until the last minute and set up the 
schedule today.
DO and COMPLETE your project DURING THIS WEEK or BEFORE THE THANKSGIVING 
BREAK at the most!!!

Of course, if your team has been already working for the project from 
last week, disregard this notice ;-)

For your early completion, I adjusted your assignment #6 due date to 
November 27, 2007 (from Nov. 20).
I am going to release the assignment #6 this Thursday instead of tomorrow.

Good luck on your project and see you tomorrow at 9:30am !!

Hi CA Folks:
I used to receive a question, how to upload the project files. That is:
   -- Your team directory is in the ECE Unix machine, such as 'yavin', 
so you can upload it from your PC after network mapping or you can use ftp.
        You can access your team directory in the UNIX machine with '% 
cd /data/classes/ece4713/public_html/Team#.'
If you still have any problems, ask your system administrator for sure.
For the early completion of project, read the 'Project' at the class 
homepage for the early completion part; that is:
"*/Bonus Credit for Early Completion (Due date: /**/09:00 a.m., 
/**/November 20, 2007): 20%/*
          If your team works for the Early Completion, it is required to 
submit your project files before the due date for the bonus credit as 
follows:

1.      Submit all the simulation files (e.g., source codes), user 
manual, and final project report to /'chu@ece.misstate.edu' by the due 
date/; I recommend you to submit the compressed files (for example, by 
using 'WinZip'); in addition, do not post these files (i.e. source 
codes) at the class web page until the web page due date, November 29, 2007.

2.      Submit your contribution report (to Dr. Chu's mailbox) by the 
due date.
