We can work out a time and location if we can settle on a day first, I believe. I do have a study session already planned for Sunday evening at 7:00, but would be open to other times on that date, or on Monday. So, we obviously can't do our session on Sunday any more. Please let me know what your availability is for this afternoon, any time between 1:00 and 5:00, to do a final study session. (Also, whether or not you would like to have a session.) Sorry for the delay, but it was obviously out of my control. I should be in my office by 10:00 this morning, and if you have specific questions, I'll be available most of the day. Some have asked to just go ahead with the exam, and others would like a study session. So, I will plan to have a study session beginning at 2:00 this afternoon in the conference room outside my office. If you would like to just go ahead and get started with the exam, and do not feel the need to have a study session, let me know, and I will go ahead and send the exam to you. Obviously, once you get the exam, you are no longer allowed to discuss the course with anyone other than me. As a matter of information, there are two design questions on the exam, based on the phase lag technique that we covered in class. As mentioned, I am not going to ask you to do a phase lead, based on the difficulties I described in class. I am also not asking for you to use the "analytical" design technique. The exam will be due by the end of the exam period on Friday, which is at 11:00 a.m. You may e-mail the exam to me, or bring it by my office, or ask someone in the main office to place it in my mailbox. Let me know if there are any other questions regarding this. Randy Follett P.S. If you want the exam now, be sure to let me know, and I will send a .pdf of it to you. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Randolph F. I have so far only heard back from one student (who wanted to go ahead and get the exam). That leaves four others to respond... Also, you should assume unity-gain negative feedback. Sorry for any confusion on this one.
