Message-ID: <4E4EF17A.3030702@ece.msstate.edu> Welcome to ECE8453 - Introduction to Wavelets. If you have received this message, then you are correctly set up to receive email via the ECE8453 mailing list. I will use the mailing list for all class mailings, and I send out email to the class quite frequently, so you will want to be sure to check your email often (at least once a day; more frequently would be preferable). Please use the class mailing list to post queries that would be of general interest to the class, and I encourage you to use it as a mechanism of dialog with your fellow classmates. To post to this list, send email to: mailto:ece8453@ece.msstate.edu Email on this list is archived at: http://www.ece.msstate.edu/pipermail/ece8453/ Also, be sure to visit the class web page frequently: http://www.ece.msstate.edu/~fowler/Classes/ECE8453/ -- ======================================================================= | Dr. James E. Period 1 also has videos on myCourses, and the others might show up there soon as well. But I posted them directly to the class website in the interest of expediency. Because the files are raw MP2 from the DVDs, they are rather large. -- ======================================================================= | Dr. James E. Fowler | | Billie J. The PDF should be self-contained - be sure to subset and embed all fonts in your PDF. For the first homework, which involves a significant amount of math, you are permitted to work the homework by hand and then scan it into a PDF. As a general rule, late homeworks will not be accepted. -- James E. Fowler Professor and Graduate Program Director Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Mississippi State University
