Body
If the first paragraph of a section is not indented, we use
IES First Paragraph. For subsequent paragraphs, we use
Normal, IES Normal. Word uses Normal for its default body
paragraph format, so make sure that all of your body paragraphs follow the
IES template.
The body of your paper is much more than words. It will more than likely
be interspersed with visual aids and statistics to give your readers a
concrete representation of the data. Every figure, table, footnote, and
reference that you mention in the text must be
cross-referenced to the object itself.
Moreover, any figures or tables you include must be placed inside a
text box. The purpose of this is so that they
may be floated to the best place for them, one of the four corners of a page.
