Headings
For any IES document, every heading should be named
Heading #, IES Heading or IES Heading #. As the numbers of the
headings increase, their importance relative to the document should decrease.
For example, if Heading 1, IES Heading is used for the title of the
paper, Heading 2, IES Heading should be the title of a section of the
paper. Any subsections that exist should follow this pattern.
Some papers may require the individual sections of the paper to be numbered. In
this case, include the numbering in the heading using the
Bullets and Numbering
utility in the Insert menu.
