Speech Recognition System Design Reviews (SRSDR)
SRSDR is held every January, and is a small, focused workshop attended
by human language engineering professionals from industry and
academia. At this workshop we review our software design,
solicit feedback on the current system design, and discuss future
directions. As with all ISIP activities, everything from this
workshop is on-line, including the workshop program. Please see:
to view the workshop proceedings. SRSDR'02 is scheduled for January 3-4, 2002.

Speech Recognition System Training Workshop (SRSTW)
SRSTW is a one-week workshop hosted in late May
on the fundamentals of
speech recognition.
This workshop features half-day lectures on theory as well as half-day
laboratories in which you receive hands-on instruction on the
technology. By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to
train and evaluate a large vocabulary speech recognition system.
The number of available seats for this workshop are limited, so please
register early. We subsidize travel and living expenses for graduate
students. It is an excellent opportunity to learn practical aspects
of speech recognition technology. Please see:
to view the workshop proceedings, which include extensive on-line
tutorials and lecture notes on speech recognition.
SRSTW'02 is scheduled for May 12-18, 2002.
