• (08/21/99) Latest release of the ISIP ASR system: The decoder is now capable of handling multiple language models simultaneously and can dynamically switch from one LM (e.g. N-gram) to another (e.g. network) at runtime. The HMM training utilities have also been modified to be in sync with the changes in the decoder.

• (07/08/99) Latest release of the ISIP ASR system: Modified the decoder to support pronunciations that do not necessarily end in silence. Another significant change is that we finally got rid of the need for the dummy sentence start and sentence end (!s and s!) models in the system. The decoder, training module and all supporting utilities and the documentation (including the tutorial) have been updated. Minor bugs in the grammar compiler were fixed.

• (02/01/99) Revised SWITCHBOARD Segmentations and Transcriptions: Included in this release are 918 conversations spanning the WS'97 dev test set (19), eval set (6) and training set (893). 367 of these conversations have the complete segmentations as well as transcriptions.
