  1. Post the resulting notes from simulation on a separate Wiki page; review them with the writing center.

19 Jun 2007 meeting

To do:

  1. Prepare for presenting MPLAB SIM on Monday; discuss with Dr. Jones by Thursday afternoon or sooner.
  2. See if MPLAB SIM's output has a "Save to disk" option that produces a text file.
  3. Read Robinson and Davies, "Continuum robot - a state of the art" stored in EndNote.
  4. Begin work on following references (first seven) in the review paper.
    • Copy and paste first seven references to a new Word document and check it in to the review folder.
    • Add to the list by following references, filling in all four points (Design, Kinematics, Application, References); highlight any unsure/incomplete entries.
    • Use the IEEE Xplore/Google Scholar to find papers and add them to the document and to SVN.
  5. Verify operation of MathType with Vista/Office 2007 per the group meeting minutes.
  6. Install/test MPLAB linking process per the group meeting minutes.
  7. Create/move a work directory to SVN\Students\your name. Place all MPLAB code in a subfolder under that.

For Dr. Jones

  1. Review SVN writing; find additional items for Narendra to bring to the writing center.

    • Remove old text (C/C++/Matlab, especially the symbolic toolkit (find / link to tutorials), Microchip, C18 compiler, USB PIC familiarity (link to Bully board page, Microchip web site, etc.). Bully Board)
  • Links to pagaent setup screen shots: e-mail not sent as requested; links useful but none thus far posted provides screenshots of pagaent setup.
    • Categorize existing links under External links
    • Add link to pagaent setup and e-mail to Dr. Jones
  • Remove command-line centric SVN writeup: done, but formatting bugs: In the popup menu select Context Menu ® SVN Move versioned files here and you have (line break) changed/added/removed.
  • Combining of client software install done

  • Coin3D under Vista: works. In progress: Microchip IDE / Hyperterm with USB.

  1. Verifying math in the review paper. Bring either verification or question. Verification should be as hand-written equations or .m files.

  4. Picture demonstration of the Creating a repository, to avoid retyping of the password, Daily use guide,
  5. Include SVN update in the daily use guide
  6. Add details of draging options in the Repository browser.
  7. create internal links for User manual, and as SVN/Daily use guide
  8. Create external links for the various subversions used for different OS under External links heading and before the downloads heading.
  9. Make one short paragaraph of the installation path.
  10. Put and external link for the dos commands for SVN.
  11. Put a Robotics home page link on the personal pages
