SECON Hardware Competition
The SECON Hardware Competition is an annual robotics competition pitting the largest South-East Conference universities against each other. Join the SECON fans mailing list to receive the latest news on the team! Or, apply to be SECON team member for a future year!
- 2010 - Very preliminary rules are posted for the competition. The conference website should be up by July.
- 2009 - MSU wins best electrical design! Rules are posted for the competition. Relevant pages: team blog, policies and procedures, team's web site.
- 2008 - MSU wins second place! Read about it in the BCoE newsroom article and in the April 2008 newsletter. More details are available on the team's web site or the team's blog, while the official site gives the rules for the competition.
- 2007 - MSU wins first place! See the BCoE newsletter (full story). More details are available on the team's web site.
- 2006 - MSU wins third place! The team built an incredible robot which took 3rd place in the competition. More details are available on the team's web site. Post-competition analysis showed that failing NiMH batteries were the root cause of a failed run. The team was advised by Dr. Reese.
