Two Mississippi State University Electrical and Computer Engineering alumni have been named to the 2022 Mississippi State University Foundation board of directors.
ECE alumnus Anthony L. Wilson began his one-year position as the new chair, and he had previously served as vice chair for the board. Wilson is currently the as chairman, president and CEO of Mississippi Power Company. He is also a member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory Board.
Albert J. “Al” Williams is beginning his inaugural term on the board. Williams is vice president of Corporate Affairs for Chevron Corporation, and he also serves on MSU’s ECE Advisory Board.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University consists of 27 faculty members (including 6 endowed professors), 7 professional staff, and over 700 undergraduate and graduate students with approximately 100 being at the Ph.D. level.
