Graduate Education

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University offers graduate programs of study leading to the Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). The graduate degrees are offered by both on-campus study as well as distance education. These programs prepare graduates for leadership roles in the constantly changing activities of research, development, product design, consulting, and education.

Each graduate program is tailored to include course work and research to develop maximum capability in the student's area of special interest.

Spring 2024 enrollment consists of 95 Ph.D. students and 45 M.S. students.
