Faculty Advising for students currently enrolled in ECE 3424 Intermediate Electronic Circuits

September 17, 2020

During your enrollment in ECE 3424 Intermediate Electronic Circuits, in addition to your course advising, you are required to complete Faculty Advising prior to registration release.

Please watch this video for more information about this process.

You will meet (likely virtually) with the Faculty member (ECE  or CSE if you are a CPE major) of your choosing to discuss:

  • career objectives, including graduate school (MSU requirements: MS 3.0; PhD 3.5) and MSU’s accelerated BS/MS program (JRs 3.5+)
  • technical electives, minors, certificates, etc. in relation to career goals
  • sequencing of key courses that should be taken in order for the student to be eligible to select particular EE/CPE technical electives.
  • senior design experience and capstone ideas. Your design team and project proposal should be submitted during the semester prior to the semester in which you wish to enroll in EE/CPE Design.

You will turn in the appropriate worksheet to 216 Simrall before being released to register for your next semester classes.
