Electrical and Computer Engineering Displays Scholarship Recipients

March 10, 2023

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering recently created a display to honor its ECE student scholarship recipients, as well as the donors who have helped make scholarships possible.

The plaques with the departmental scholarships are now on display in Simrall Hall, highlighted on the hallway near the ECE Student Success Center and the ECE Foundations in Design lab.

Departmental scholarships are made possible with generous gifts from donors, and the awardees were determined by searching lists of scholarship winners since electronic records have been recorded. In addition to the plaques, a listing of the departmental scholarships and awardees may be found on ECE’s website.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University consists of 27 faculty members (including seven endowed professors), seven professional staff, and over 700 undergraduate and graduate students, with approximately 100 being at the Ph.D. level. With a research expenditure of over $14.24 million, the department houses the largest High Voltage Laboratory among North American universities.
