EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Mississippi State University has a long tradition in
High Voltage Engineering education. High voltage engineering topics may be incorporated
in programs leading to B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees.
The High Voltage Laboratory education program is realized through:
- undergraduate/graduate courses
- graduate courses
- seminars for students and faculty
- short courses for practicing engineers
- graduate assistanship to conduct research in the area of High
Voltage Engineering
- undergraduate students support to assist in research and
evaluation/testing programs in High Voltage Laboratory

A following
advanced graduate 8000 courses are offered:

- Theory of Dielectrics
- Overvoltages and Surge Protection
in Electric Power Systems
The High Voltage Laboratory is
used for experiments in all theses courses.
